Jeremy Scott is an American fashion designer born in Kansas City Missouri. He attended the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York for fashion design. Scott started his runway career in Paris and has since shown collections in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, London, Moscow, Korea.
Jeremy Scott is known for his outrageous and lovely designs.

Twitter has gotta be a world of its own, while celebrities, fashion designers, fashion icons, bloggers and people come and share details and also interact with each other.
Last time,i posted tips on how to break into the fashion industry as tweeted by Celebrity Stylist,Marian Kihogo (@marian_kihogo) Earlier today,Fashion Designer,Jeremy Scott tweeted tips on how he made it into the Fashion Industry.
Filled with Nostalgia and Presently in Paris, where it all started,he tweeted how he arrived Paris with 6 boxes, homeless and had only $100 in his pocket, with nothing in his heart but to be a Fashion Designer. All he owes his success to is WORKING HARD,STAYING TRUE TO YOUR VISION,DREAM and watch it happening bit by bit.
it was like everyone was tuned and reading his tweets.. Fans asked how he survived in paris with nowhere to go,He said.. he would sneak into hotels looking for food that was placed outside the doors to be picked up and also slept in houses of people who were generous enough to take him into their houses.
he also said the first show he had.. he sewed everyhing himself, made the shoes by hand and dressed the models himself.
He said all you need is Determination and Confidence.
here are some of his tweets;

Fans kept on asking him Questions.. it was like a mini Jeremy Scott forum/interview and when i expressed my love for him,he replied me back.
i was so happy, because he is one of my fave designers.

TREND ALERT - TURBANS

The cover of ELLE Italia has Chanel Iman, rocking a turban, with a sheer top, pants and metallic belt and ring. loving the whole "ROCK_CHIC' look, but my attention was drawn to the sequinned turban.
Turbans were fashionable in the 1940s and 1950s ; one name given them was cache-misère  ( 'hide misery"), a chic solution to a bad-hair day.. but now.. its a fashion statement.

Celebrities,such as Solange Knowles (@solangeknowles ) and june ambrose ( @JuneAmbrose) always look amazing,when rocking a turban.
turbans have also been spotted on the runways of fashion shows. wearing a turban is a bold fashion statement,i think will look great in bright prints or ankara prints to add a pop of colour to your outfit.
Turbans can be worn with almost everything to give you that classic look. people think turbans are qctually quite ugly.

here are some shopping options from ASOS

Is this a Trend you will be rocking soon??

she said: read voraciously, become a film buff,be ready to forget sleep exists, learn constantly.

she said: be ready to sweep someone's carpet, just for titbits of knowledge. dont expect to make any money for years. soak up everything you can, both formally through school,if you can and informally through internships/assisting etc.

Blair's gown made my heart stop. it was like I died and went to Fashion heaven. the gown is an Oscar dela renta Vermillion silk and Organza pleated gown. I love the ruffles and the train gives it a dramatic look.

DESIGNER REVIEW - MARIAM MOUSSA

So I stumbled on a designer,Mariam Moussa recently. i went to her website and the lookbook was amazing and the designs were lovely,so i decided to interview the brain behind this fashion house.

*TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF?
mariam_moussa: im Hauwa Ojeifo, from Edo state in Nigeria. Born and raised in lagos,a student of Bells university of technology, studying international business.

*TELL US ABOUT YOUR DESIGN HOUSE?
mariam_moussa: formerly M&M fashion, this label has beenin existence for over 25 years. it was/is still run by my lovely mother,Hajia Maryam Ojeifo. since inception,we have offered a variety of pieces for both ladies and gentlemen. it was rebranded in february 2010 and had its major focus on ladies' pieces.
we comprise of three dedicated and vastly experienced administrators;Myself,My mother and My Sister,Zainab Ojeifo.

*I WENT THROUGH YOUR LOOKBOOK AND THE CLOTHES ARE LOVELY,WHERE DO YOU GET INSPIRATION TO CREATE SUCH FABULOUS DESIGNS?
mariam_moussa: Thank you very much,i must say. well, inspiration comes just about anywhere and anytime. i think the basic thing i bear in mind is creativity, which is either thinking outside the box or modifying what may already exist.i see a piece that forms in a particular way and i say to myself; "why not reverse it" and a new piece comes alive.

*WHAT DOES FASHION MEAN TO YOU?
mariam_moussa: for me,comfort and fitting,no matter what i put on,these two features have a way of selling one out.

*WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE FABRICS TO WORK WITH AND WHY?
mariam_moussa: i am still exploring a variety of fabrics but so far,i'm loving local ankara, very easy to work with. i like chiffon, chinos and satin, they make good combos. im looking forward to using aso-oke and george, amongst others in the nearest future.

*I ADMIRE FASHION DESIGNERS AND I WISH AT TIMES,I WAS ONE.. WHAT WILL YOU SAY IS YOUR STRENGTH AND WEAKNESS IN THE ART OF FASHION DESIGNING?
mariam_moussa: well,i prefer to term them as "CHALLENGES". getting very good craftmen is definately one. also, publicity may prove a bit slow,as a result of many "agents" being skewed towards the works of already made Nigerian designers, making it difficult for the rising ones.

*DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?
mariam_moussa: comfort and simplicity all the way. i do not compromise these features for anything.

*WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY AS A WORD OF INSPIRATION TO UPCOMING FASHION DESIGNERS?

mariam_moussa: just like i tell myself,be determined, humble and patient. be extra-hardworking,willing to learn and be focused. with faith in God,you will grow beyond your dreams.

*WHERE CAN READERS FIND MORE ABOUT YOUR DESIGNS AND POSSIBLY BUY?

mariam_moussa: i am actually working on contracing on-line retailers, but the digital lookbook can be viewed from the website, http://www.mariammoussacreations.com/  and order via the "feedback" or "contact us". also you can follow us on twitter, @_MariamMoussa for updates and also become a fan at
